SUMMARY

The logistics services provided will support the PEO C4I Communications and GPS Navigation Program office by providing long distance, tactical, strategic communications and navigation systems for ships at sea and facilities ashore. Services include acquisition, integration, delivery and support of all communications and navigation systems for maritime forces and those that are planned and transitioned to the Fleet Readiness Directorate (FRD).

The work activities will be performed in the following areas:

  • Manpower and Personnel
  • Support Equipment
  • Training and Training Support

Services will range from providing ILS subject matter expertise and interface support for the development, review, and updating of program specific logistics acquisition and support documents, such as logistics schedules, action item tracking sheets, program briefs and presentations, data calls, Naval messages, logistics support plans and schedules, technical manuals, training materials, maintenance documentation, ILS certification sheets, configuration work files, installation planning documents, sparing plans, provisioning lists, program support data (PSD) sheets, program milestone preparation, Product Support Reviews (PSR), government letters, and ILS Contract Line Item/Contract Data Requirements List (CLIN/CDRL) deliverables.

 Senior Program Management/ Logistics Analyst:

– Bachelor’s Degree with twelve (12) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable department of Defense agencies or a Master’s Degree with nine (9) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable Department of Defense agencies.

– Six (6) years of this experience in direct program management support to an Acquisition program office (PEO/PMW) or similar organization supporting Logistics requirements.

– DAWIA Level III Logistics and DAWIA Level II Program Management courses or equivalent certification.

– High caliber oral, written, and briefing skills.

Senior Level Logistics Analyst:

– Bachelor’s Degree with twelve (12) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable department of Defense agencies or a Master’s Degree with nine (9) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable Department of Defense agencies.

– DAWIA Level III Logistics courses or equivalent certification.

– High caliber oral, written, and briefing skills.

Mid-Level Logistics Analyst:

– Bachelor’s Degree with seven (7) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable Department of Defense agencies or a Master’s Degree with four (4) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable Department of Defense agencies.

– DAWIA Level II Logistics courses or equivalent certification.

– High caliber oral and written skills

Junior Level Logistics Analyst:

– Bachelor’s Degree with three (3) years specialized logistics experience with the Navy or comparable Department of Defense agencies.

– DAWIA Level I Logistics courses or equivalent certification.

– High caliber oral and written skill

Senior Level Technical Writer/Editor:

– Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years’ experience in editing documents, proofing and technical writing with the Navy or comparable department of Defense agencies

– Desired experience in drafting and editing XML technical documents and/or SCORM compliant training documentation.

– Desired knowledge of regulations and policies affecting publishing of Navy publications; practices, and standards

– Desired substantial subject-matter or technical knowledge to develop written products that articulate, interpret, and explain highly complex programs, equipment, and technical equipment.

Mid-Level Technical Writer/Editor:

– Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years’ experience in editing documents, proofing and technical writing with the Navy or comparable department of Defense agencies

– Desired experience in drafting and editing XML technical documents and/or SCORM compliant training documentation.

– Desired knowledge of regulations and policies affecting publishing of Navy publications; practices, and standards

– Desired ability to develop written products that articulate, interpret, and explain highly complex programs, equipment, and technical equipment.

Junior Level Technical Writer/Editor:

– Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years’ experience in editing documents, proofing and technical writing with the Navy or comparable department of Defense agencies

– Desired experience in drafting and editing XML technical documents and/or SCORM compliant training documentation.

– Desired knowledge of regulations and policies affecting publishing of Navy publications; practices, and standards

– Desired understanding of the basic principles, practices, operations, and specialized vocabulary to develop written products that articulate, interpret, and explain complex programs, equipment, and technical equipment.
